Thomson Productions was an independent company in the field of Cinemetography. It was created by Sam Thomson in 2005, and since then has become Nephi's primary film production company. After producing short films such as Hamlet, Enigma, and the Dragon's Mount, the company began working on several full-length films. In the time between productions, Thomson Productions's animation department, Utah Digital, supplies visual effects and sound editing for other companies.
In 2011, Thomson Productions merged into Sam Thomson's other production company, Same As Me Films. This made The Same As Me the last film to bear the Thomson Productions logo.
